Assistant Project Manager Retail Fit Out (Permanent)

Cambridge/Peterborough based regional contractor

£35,000 Plus package  

TSR Recruitment are currently looking to source an assistant construction/fit out/ refurbishment project manager for a main contractor based near Thetford. This role will benefit a Junior or assistant project manager operating in construction, fit out or refurbishment, looking for their next step.

This role will involve training and development to assist the successful candidate to achieve their full potential, being involved in projects from preconstruction, to planning, delivery and handover.

This role will involve some travel across the region but will come with a company vehicle or allowance to suit.

The Role

• Split time between office and sites
• Assist with delivery of a range of projects large and small in the retail sector
• Liaise effectively with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectations.
• Coordinate with clients to review and adhere to programme schedules and ensure the work is completed as planned.
• Reporting to senior level on progress

The Person

• A proactive approach
• Strong communication, Verbal and written
• The ability to balance technical expertise with a practical understanding of site delivery
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, preferred.
