TS Recruitment are actively working with a small developer / contractor based in Rotherham who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor.

Benefits

• Competitive basic salary dependant on experience, plus Bonus
• 8.30 - 5pm office hours with some flexibility

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• A mix of commercial and project management duties
• Manages small projects from contract award to handover with support of the Site Manager and Managing Director
• Carry out valuations on site.
• Procure materials and plant for site.
• Complete payment applications to the client
• Coordination of Health and Safety documents
• Manage the client relationship including progress reports and face to face meetings
• Raise invoices and approve subcontractors and supplier invoices for payment

Company Details

• Small successful contractor working on new build housing developments, commercial new build and fit out projects.
• 10 years of trading history
• Contracts values from £50k to £5 million
• Career development to become part of the senior team

Knowledge/Experience:

• Commercial experience working on similar projects.
• Experience delivering projects with values from £50k to £5 million
• Experience working for a small construction contractor
• Good IT and numerical skills.
• Full UK driving license
