£35,000 - £38,000 per annum

TS Recruitment are recruiting for a Planning & Materials Manager in the Ripley area to work for a manufacturing company within the Aerospace industry.

Benefits

• Basic salary circa £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
• 3% employer and 5% employee pension contributions
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays 

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Planning and scheduling – update the MRP systems  
• Liaise with production to ensure schedules and material availability
• Materials Management – procurement of raw materials and components to align with the production needs
• Inventory control – manage inventory levels to ensure a constant flow with minimum waste.
• Carry out inventory audits
• Supplier Management- Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality, price and delivery
• Continuous Improvement – be a proactive member of the CI team
• Reports- Prepare regular reports on material usage, inventory and supplier performance

• Aerospace manufacturing company
• Investment casting including design, manufacture of the tooling using ceramic and wax injection
• Based in Ripley

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong knowledge of materials planning inventory management and supply chain
• Previous experience with ERP / MRP systems
• Strong IT skills including excel, word and PowerPoint
