Scaffolders Wanted in Ashby De La Zouch - Immediate Start

We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our team in Ashby De La Zouch, starting immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled individuals looking for long-term work in the East Midlands region.

Overview

As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures as per site requirements. This is a physically demanding role, and you must be able to work at heights in all weather conditions. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project needs and deadlines. Key Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with site requirements and relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct daily safety checks and report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute scaffolding operations efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
• Willingness to travel within the East Midlands region to various project sites.
• Ability to work 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as per project needs.
• This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and project availability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Scaffolder in the construction industry.
• Valid CISRS or equivalent scaffolding certification.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines, including TG20:13 and SG4:15.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights in all weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Own transportation is preferred.
