Estimator / Buyer - Plumbing and Heating Contractor

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £50,000 Package

Key Benefits:

• 9-5 Monday to Thursday, early finish Friday

Role & Responsibilities:

Sole Estimator / Buyer for a £6 million turnover plumbing business reporting into the Commercial Director:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Analise / review project requirements and specifications
• Liaisewith internal stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain prices
• Meet with clients to discuss projects, specification and programmes
• Purchase raw materials for site and agree call offs
• Managing stock / stores levels
• Agreeing yearly contracts with suppliers

About the Company:

• Established Plumbing and Heating Contractor with over 30 years trading history.
• £6 million turnover business
• Work on social housing, new build housing and commercial refurb projects
• Repeat client base with several frameworks in place

Requirements:

• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail.
• Organisation and problem-solving skills
• Pricing trend awareness
