Location: Surrey & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £27,000 Van & Fuel Card

Are you looking to build a career in water treatment and hygiene? TSR is partnering with a leading environmental contractor to recruit a Junior Water Treatment Engineer in Surrey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of water hygiene regulations or an interest in the field to gain hands-on experience and training. You’ll work on commercial, industrial, and healthcare sites, ensuring water systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Legionella risk assessments and site inspections
Carry out water sampling, temperature monitoring, and microbiological testing
Inspect, clean, and disinfect cold water storage tanks, outlets, and showerheads
Support engineers with closed system analysis, chlorination, and remedial works
Ensure all documentation and compliance reports are completed accurately
Report non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Some experience in water hygiene, plumbing, or a technical field (preferred but not essential)
✔ A full UK driving licence – Essential for travel between sites
✔ Strong attention to detail – Ability to follow compliance guidelines
✔ A positive, hands-on attitude – Willing to learn and develop skills in water treatment
✔ Good communication skills – Able to work independently and as part of a team
