Coatings Inspector / Coatings Supervisor

Newcastle Upon Tyne

£45,000 + Package (Car Allowance)

Permanent Opportunity.

TS Recruitment are working with a leading coatings and painting specialist who are now recruiting a NACE Level 2 qualified Inspector / Supervisor.

• To meet criteria and standards your role will involve actively monitoring, certifying and collating information and data relating to the preparation and painting works.
• This will involve communicating to relevant stakeholders to provide constructive feedback and support, reporting in line with inspections, quality and auditing processes, also providing expert guidance and compliance. Communication skills are key, as is meeting client needs and having a proactive approach in what can be a very demanding and reactive industry.
• Being adaptable in your role is key to a very challenging and reactive environment.
• Your background must be related to the industry and having the ability to carry out inspections and populating of data in line with NACE standards
• Assisting with supervising of contracts when required.
• Assist with Health & Safety documentation associated with jobs secured and any other documentation; this includes but is not limited to risk assessments, permit to work, TBT’s etc.
• The use of a laptop for all related IT documentation.
• Travelling to any location to carry out inspections etc
• Hours of work will vary and sometimes weekend working in required should inspections need to be carried out.
• Job can involve working away on occasions as we are a national branch
