Building Services Engineer (Commercial Gas Bias)
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £45,000

TS Recruitment is partnering with a leading facilities management company to find a highly skilled Building Services Engineer with a commercial gas bias to join their team in West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with experience in gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Role Overview:
In this diverse role, you will be responsible for carrying out both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial properties. Your expertise will be required in managing heating, boiler, and mechanical systems, as well as electrical and plumbing tasks to ensure systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on heating, boilers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), and VRFs (Variable Refrigerant Flow systems).
Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance, including fault diagnosis and repairs.
Provide plumbing support, including installation and maintenance of systems across commercial properties.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, regulations, and all statutory requirements.
Work independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines and provide effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Proven experience in building services, facilities management, or property maintenance, with a commercial gas bias.
✔ Full Commercial Gas Qualifications (covering commercial boilers, gas heaters, and heating systems).
✔ Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, including AHUs, FCUs, and plumbing.
✔ Ability to diagnose and resolve faults across multiple systems.
✔ Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
