7.5 T Driver
14 , Overtime paid after 48 hrs work at an increased rate
TSR Ipswich LTD are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne driver to support one of our highly reputable clients on the outskirts of Ipswich.
We are looking for 7.5 Tonne drivers to do ongoing work with an immediate start. Assessment and Induction are required before getting started.
Shift Patterns: (Sunday to Thursday) or (Tuesday to Saturday) - Must be available to work 1 day each weekend
Duties
- Operate a 7.5-tonne delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Perform routine defect checks, reporting any issues or concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
Skills
- Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods (With a drivers mate)
Requirements:
- CPC and digital tacho card.
- 6 points maximum, NO DD or DR codes.
- Minimum of 12 months 7.5T driving experience.
Additional Information:
- PAYE ONLY. £14.23 PH pay rate
- Constant work always available all year.
- 1 day assessment with full time member of staff and induction required before starting.
- Over time available at increased rate.
