TS Recruitment are working with a Property Services / Social Housing Contractor who are now recruiting a permanent Senior Surveyor to be based out of their Hertfordshire office.

You will have previous SQS experience coming from a Property Services / Social Housing Contractor or SME and a background in; Planned Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects meet their requirements.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Manage project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Surveyor, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working within social housing on planned refurbishment / painting and decorating projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

This is a hybrid role, you will be required to commute to the office 3 days per week.

Seeking an experienced Writer who has experience in either Social Housing or a Construction background.

Key Responsibilities and previous experience include:

Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of allocated selection questionnaires and tender submissions through the various stages of the procurement process

Planning, drafting, writing and coordinating responses to bids. Author relevant answers which answer the client's requirements and portray the company in the best possible light.

Building internal and external relationships with individuals to create quality bids.

Visiting operational sites and other offices. Gathering information from other stakeholders and sharing information with the rest of the team, either through written reports or verbally, to record the visit.

Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst obtaining and sharing best practices with the team.

Undertaking research for the team to improve bid content.

Reviewing bid submissions for quality and accuracy

  • 2 years' experience in, and knowledge of, social housing/property services/ Construction markets
  • Some experience in bid management throughout the full bid lifecycle

As an experienced Resident Liaison Officer, you will:

  • Be a visible point of contact for customers, engaging through newsletters, meetings, visits and open days.
  • Ensure residents are aware of the works processes and communicate any updates accordingly.
  • Coordinate handover of keys to site teams and provide a high standard of customer aftercare.
  • Ensure works are completed to standard and manage the expectations between residents, the client and our operations teams.
