Sales Administrator
£ 25000 per annual, Bonus

TSR are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our clients vibrant team at their head office. Our client is a leading Housebuilder who have established a fantastic reputation in the industry, based in the South Midlands.

 

The purpose of the role is to provide admin support to the Sales team, to ensure timely processing of sales and deliver promises. As their Sales Administrator, you will be creating, compiling and distributing documentation in an accurate and timely manner, to ensure sales progress to completion.

As their sales administrator you will be responsible for;

  • Providing day-to-day support to customers and the sales team
  • Processing reservations and orders
  • Ordering upgrades of interiors, soft furnishings and marketing material
  • Assist with the creation of marketing campaigns
  • Taking customer payments
  • Preparing customer accounts
  • Handover documents
  • Updating and maintaining sales records on COINS
  • Assisting customers and colleagues with queries
  • Calculating and preparing commission and expenses claims for the sales team
  • Compiling weekly and monthly reports for the Board and Senior Management

 

Experience required:

  • Strong administration experience

Commercial & Technical Administrator
£ 30000 - 35000 per annual

Are you interested in a commercial and/or technical career? I have a brilliant opportunity to join a fantastic housebuilder, based in the Leeds area, on a permanent full-time basis. This role will allow you to grow and develop your knowledge and skill set whilst building a successful career with the support and education of professionals.

My client is looking for a Commercial and Technical Administrator who has a good understanding of these sectors and a passion for construction.

Ideally, they would be looking for someone who has some experience working within the commercial and technical sectors, as well as house building knowledge.

The main responsibility of this role is to assist the commercial and technical teams with administrative duties and project support.

Your duties may include the below:

Technical support:

  • Attend weekly technical meetings and take minutes for typing and distributing.
  • Ensure all invoices are scanned, saved and recorded for each development.
  • Distribute weekly objectives as set by the Technical Director
  • Monitor receipt of NHBC conditions and issue available requested information to obtain discharge of the conditions.
  • Administrative support in processing Road and Sewer Agreements.
  • Typing letters to public Utility Companies at land enquiry stage through to formal application stage.
  • Scanning documents/drawings and saving to the system.
  • Request and distribute EPC's and As Built SAP's.
  • Register & amend Robust Detail application forms. Keep design fees spreadsheet up to date.

 

Commercial Support:

  • Work closely with the Commercial Director/Commercial Manager to ensure that relevant administrative tasks are dealt with efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain relevant filing systems and databases.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers/contacts to ensure a smooth flow of information and work between the department, Head Office and other internal/external departments and contacts.
  • Monitor costs incurred by the department.
  • Ensure effective and efficient processing of documents through Company systems, working within set time frames.
  • Provide other appropriate ad hoc duties, and administrative support within the Division, as and when required.

 

In return you will be joining a high end, growing company and receive a basic salary of up to £35,000.

New Home Trainee Sales Advisor
£ 23000 per annual, Car allowance and commission

My client, a 5* Top 10 new build housing developer are recruiting for a Trainee Sales Advisor to join their passionate, successful and driven Sales Team.

You will be required to work on a large and fast selling development, alongside an experienced Senior Sales Advisor, whilst learning all about the role and industry. The hours of work will be Thursday - Monday 10am - 5pm, working every weekend with Tuesday and Wednesday off. You can undergo an apprenticeship scheme, completing with an NVQ Level 4. 

The purpose of the role is to ensure sales targets are met through negotiation and selling of plots ensuring all aspects of the sale are in conformity with the standards set by the New Homes Quality Code.

The role will include:

- Assist with sales activities for allocated developments, including lead management, customer appointments, reservations, sales transactions, legal completions and the sale of finishing touches, to ensure achievement of sales targets.

- Support communication and administration associated with sales transactions, including liaising with Solicitors, Estate Agents and New Homes Mortgage Advisers to ensure exchange takes place in 42 days, required documentation is provided and the home sale is audit compliant.

- Update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to log the customer journey and facilitate timely and accurate management information.

- Communicate with customers to ensure the pre-move and after-sales Pledge is adhered to.

- Work cohesively with other departments across the Operating Company such as Construction, Commercial and Legal to ensure achievement of completion targets and timely updates relating to plot progress.

- Complete weekly competitor reports, to ensure we can benchmark pricing and our value proposition against the local new build competitors.

- Maintain the customer hub and show homes on the development in line with brand and company standards.

- Comply with the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy and ensure compliance of prospective buyers during site visits and pre-sale and new home demonstrations to minimise incidents and accidents.

What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- A good understanding of Microsoft Package, including Excel and Word

- Experience within a similar role or delivering sales in a service environment is advantageous

- Able to build relationships across functions, internally and externally

- Full UK Driving Licence is required

Quantity Surveyor
£ 50000 - 55000 per annual, Car Allowance

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge? Do you have experience working on new build housing projects? TS Recruitment are actively working with a brilliant housebuilder who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their Leeds office.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Work as a proactive key member of the Quantity Surveying team.
  • Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorisation for passing payments for all elements of subcontractor works.
  • You will agree final accounts with subcontractors, ensuring all works have been carried out within budget and analysing costs to assist on future estimates. 
  • Assist in keeping the RAMS schedule updated and issued to all relevant parties. 
  • Liaise with the Customer Service department on post-completion defects, providing cost advice where necessary. 
  • Attend site meetings, project team meetings, subcontractor meetings and surveying meetings as required. 
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager to support the wider teams. 
  • Attend Project development meetings when appropriate, contract pre-start and subcontract package review meetings.
  • Receive initial tender information and assist in the preparation of the proposed tender lists and updating of subsequent procurement programmes. 
  • Documentation and letters including carrying out preliminary checks on subcontractors. 
  • Preparing construction cost analysis, which includes analysis of quotations resulting from the tender enquiry, requesting additional and outstanding information as required. 
  • Assess site staffing levels and build programmes with the Construction Director to ascertain preliminary costs, including collating all cost information and preparing the start on site budget. 
  • Prepare stage payment schedules to assist in the financing of the works. 
  • Carry out pre-order meetings including all necessary Health & Safety requirements, finalising a tender sum and agreeing a stage payment schedule for payment purposes before preparing all contract documentation and placing the order. 
  • Place subcontractor orders, including interviews and checking references on selected subcontractors. You will then negotiate the contract sum within the budget, including finalising costs to cover all late variations. 
  • Issue variation orders and development changes alongside providing cost advice on major variations prior to issue.
  • You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors; negotiating the cost of variations including liaising between Buyers and Build Managers.
  • You will provide a full range of pricing information for purchaser's extras. 
  • Working closely with other departments, including Technical, Finance, Land, Sales and Production.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £55,000, plus a car allowance and company benefits which include a competitive pension contribution, private health care and more.
